Poland Mission Trip

SEPTEMBER – OCTOBER 2023

Setting out on a meaningful 5-week mission trip to Poland, our experience was filled with impactful encounters and life-changing moments. In Wrocław, over four days, we connected with new people, collaborated with churches, and hit the streets for evangelism, leading to positive results. Visiting three significant churches, we shared the Gospel extensively, reaching individuals grappling with issues like rejection, hopelessness, substance abuse, and depression.

As we explained God’s unconditional love to those in struggle, a ray of hope brightened their lives. Seeing three individuals embrace salvation was a powerful testament to God’s love. One particularly touching moment occurred when a 19-year-old girl, overcome with relief upon understanding God’s love for her, earnestly asked for a hug.

Our mission continued in Poznań, where we engaged in conversations with church leaders, pastors, and individuals on the streets. Seeds of truth were planted, bringing many closer to the Gospel. We also witnessed the pervasive influence of the Catholic Church and religious experiences. This became evident when we heard about a young girl’s distressing experience with condemnation and inappropriate behaviour within the church.

People were receptive, eager for truth, and open to discovering God in a new way. As people communicated fluently in English, it allowed us to transcend language barriers, leaving a profound impact on each person through the transformative message we shared.

God’s favour continued to unfold as we shared testimonies, taught, evangelized, and presented our ministry in various settings, including a primary school in Leszno.

A remarkable opportunity arose to visit one of Poland’s largest prisons in Gdańsk, the SZTUM PRISON. Miraculously, permission was granted on the same day we applied, an unusual speed given the usual bureaucratic delays.

Inside the prison, Magda and I shared the Gospel, leading to 9 individuals responding to the altar call and accepting Christ. Their testimonials reflected the significant impact of the shared message, confirming their beliefs and providing transformative revelations.

Our participation in a Street Church in Gdansk resulted in 2 additional salvations.

Looking back, we are thankful to God for arranging these opportunities and enriching the lives of those we met. Our time in Poland serves as proof of the transformative strength of God’s love and the influence of spreading the Gospel in various and
