Romania Mission Trip

October - 2023

What an incredible and impactful 2 weeks of mission in Romania! We have returned from a rewarding two-week mission trip to Romania, where we had the privilege of partnering with Reboot Ministry UK. The initial week was spent in and around the picturesque town of Brasov, collaborating with a diverse team comprising individuals from the UK, Germany, and the USA.

Highlights of our activities in Brasov include:

  • Participating in the Sunday service at CCB Church, witnessing numerous individuals embrace salvation and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • Engaging in street evangelism for 3 days, spreading the love of Christ and witnessing transformative impacts on the lives of many.
  • Conducting evangelistic sessions at a university in Brasov, where numerous young people eagerly listened and responded to the profound message of the Gospel, accepting Christ into their lives.
  • Visiting a centre for Mothers & Children in Tarlungeni, a Roma village, where we provided food, assisted with lunch preparations, and offered encouragement and prayer to women facing challenging circumstances.

Our time in Tarlungeni involved interacting with groups of children, engaging in activities such as colouring, dancing, and presenting the story of Daniel through drama. We provided meals, prayed with them, and were deeply moved by witnessing positive changes in the lives of these families.

We also extended our outreach to Roma villages in Harman, Barcani, and Rupea, participating in Sunday services, sharing healing and salvation testimonies, and witnessing nine individuals experience instant healing. House visits in Rupea led to two young girls and one man inviting Jesus into their hearts.

During the second week, Amit and Magda from Switch Ministries remained in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, while the rest of the Reboot Ministry team returned to the UK.

 In Bucharest:

  • Engaging with individuals on the streets, we found receptive hearts prepared to receive the good news, resulting in divine appointments and meaningful conversations.
  • Visiting UBC22 church, dedicated to assisting Ukrainian refugees, we offered support in housing, providing food, facilitating employment opportunities, and addressing legal documentation. Additionally, we led a Bible study, answering questions and illuminating the true Gospel of Jesus.

Reflecting on our time in Romania, we express gratitude for the impactful work accomplished. Approximately 40 individuals received Jesus, over 70 experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit, 9 received instant healing, and countless others heard the Gospel for the first time. We extend heartfelt thanks for your support and prayers throughout this mission.
